Drip Roses (Black Film)

First off, this collage/sculpture/painting/assemblage was created by the wonderful Kayla Gasperec (check her out here: [link]) in my final studio art assignment "Black Film."

The assignment itself was to create an installation with a focus on video art. In the video, the white roses are dipped into a jar full of black (actually it was navy blue, brown, and some black because I forgot to get more black, but hey- I won't tell if you don't), then pinned to the canvas and let to drip and dry.

I thought it turned out pretty cool, and wanted to get a few shots of it before I had to clean my room today.
